Polly's Pink

Breeder:
Paul Ecke Ranch
Summary:
Depending on the light, this is a knock-your-socks-off color. The bright fluorescent pink bracts were mildly ruffled and slightly upright facing. The bracts tended to look tight and cramped in 6 ½-inch or smaller pots. We tried a few in larger pots and the bract display was nicer. Both the young and old bracts were a similar color, in contrast to many pinks in which the older bracts tend to fade and show a gray cast. Plants were uniform with excellent breaking. The leaves were medium green. Plants flowered mid-season and were medium to high vigor.
