Summary:
One of the more distinctive reds, Chianti is known for its dark brick red bracts and unusual cyathia which have a complete ring of nectaries. Bracts are somewhat oak leaf shaped. The leaves are dark green. The low vigor plants flower late season. Plants work best in 6 ½ inch or smaller pots.
